Using a carriers Website in OASIS to track shipping

OASIS can link to a carrier’s website and provide tracking information. For groups with the OASIS Web piece, customers can find the order, view the line items, and then click the pro/tracking number on the line item and get up to the minute tracking.

OASIS users can also see this information quickly in the order by highlighting the pro/tracking number and clicking “Tracking Website”.

Here’s how to setup the Carrier’s WebLinks:

  •           Go to Orders
  •           Then, File, and Configuration
  •           In the Configure window, click the ”Carriers” tab
  •           You will see 3 entries already set up, two with WebLinks
  •           Other carriers can be entered on a blank line if needed.
  •           Enter a SCAC code, Name and the carrier’s WebLink (Phone is optional)
  • -     If you write {TrackingNumber} in the WebLink, it will be replaced with the tracking number on the shipping line
  •           NOTE -  WebLink must be setup in order for the link to work
  •           Click OK

Using the WebLink

OASIS Web – for groups with the OASIS web portal

  •           Customers can click on the pro/tracking number and OASIS will open a browser window to the carrier’s website and display tracking information
  •           The UPS (in this case) website opens with the tracking information displayed (as shown below)

Inside OASIS

  •           Users can highlight the tracking number,
  •           Then click “Tracking Website” on the blue Search bar on the right.
  •           (If you do not see the blue search bar, click the binoculars in the upper right of the Order screen)
  •           OASIS will open a browser window to the carrier’s website and display tracking information
  •           The UPS website opens with the tracking information displayed (as shown below)
