Commission For Account Report

This report is designed to assist your company in paying outside sales accounts, and viewing paid sales totals for the company as a whole.  To have the best results with this report, it is recommended to have your sales accounts setup with the split between the company and the sales account.  You can view that information here.

 

Note – Payments (checks) must be posted to run the report correctly.

  • Go to the Payments section (assuming the payments are already posted for the month reporting) 
  • Go to the Reports menu and select the “Commissions for Account” report.

 

The Commission Report window will appear.

  • Select the “Output to” desired 
  • Title (optional) if you wish to save the report (add title and click Save Report) 

 

Next, select the time frames that you wish to report on.

 

Time frame Explanation
Commissions The time frame the payment was entered (Date Received)
Resell Markup Profit from resell assigned to the account 
Deductions Any deductions or additions to an accounts totals 

Then, if printing by Sales Account:

 

  • Click the add button and select all accounts you wish to report on.
  • OASIS allows you to print commissions for any or all of the sales people or branch offices (commission accounts). When you click the Add button, the list of commission accounts for salespeople or branches will appear. Select any one or all by holding the Control key down and selecting. 
  • If printing for the entire company without splits, check the "Entire Company (no account splits)" box. This will not be split out by sales commission account or branch office.
Option Purpose/Function
Pay Costs and Commissions First This will pay costs and commissions before printing the report. (only for resell)
Cap Earnings If the sales person or branch is assigned 5% and the PO indicates 20%, the salesperson or branch will be capped at 5% 
Draft Only (Show non-posted payments)  This will include non-posted payments. Some agencies use this to run a preliminary report prior to posting payments 
Summary Only  This will not show the transaction details that produce the report.  

Once you have entered your parameters, click Print. You may also save this report a re-run at a later date. Change the title and click Save Report.

InvDate The date on the invoice
Check#  Check number on the payment
Received Received date on the payment
CustName Customer on the PO/Invoice
InvAmt Amount of the invoice
P# Number of payments against the invoice
CommPD Amount of commission paid against the invoice
CommBal Commission left to be paid to the agency
FirmAMT What the agency is keeping
RepComm What the sales account gets
Comm% The sales account percentage from the order
JobName Name of the related project
