Attachments is one of the most powerful features of OASIS for desktop, and the same is true on mobile. We have ported nearly every feature you've come to expect of our attachments tab over to the iOS version. 

Viewing Attachments

Nearly every entry in OASIS has a corresponding attachments panel. To view the attachments for a transaction, tap on the "Menu" icon in the top right-hand corner, and select "Attachments".


Each attachment will has the description, with the notes for the attachment in smaller text beneath it. You can see the attachment's assigned color to the left of the item. Each file attachment will have an action assigned to it for viewing, editing, or emailing the attachment.

You can group attachments by description title, category, or by update date. To change the grouping, tap the "Settings" icon in the bottom-right corner.

Single-tap an item to open it in the default iOS viewer. Items that cannot be opened will prompt you for apps that you have installed that report they are compatible with the file.

Adding and Editing Attachments

To add an attachment, tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner. This will open a list of options for you to choose from.

When adding a picture or editing an attachment, you will see the "Edit Attachments' screen. Here you can change the description, notes, customer/manufacturer, as well as add a color or category to the attachment. When you are done editing, tap the "Save" button in the top-right corner. 

Filtering and Searching Attachments

You can quickly search for attachments by typing in the filter bar at the top of the attachments panel. It will filter the attachments as you type, showing you anything that matches the name you input.

However, there are times when you need more control over what you want to filter to. This is where the "Filter" button in the bottom-left comes in. Here, you can set up specific filters for the file type, customer/manufacturer, and category/color combinations. Tap the items you want to see, then when you are done tap "Filter" in the top-right.

If you create a filter set that you want to be able to quickly recover, tap the "Save" button in the bottom-right. Give it a name, and then the filter will be stored for later use. You can then recover saved filters by tapping the "Load" button in the bottom-left. This will list the filters you have saved previously, giving you the ability to load them up quickly.

When you select a filter in this list, you can set it as default by tapping on the related button in the bottom-right. Additionally, you can long-tap (tap-and-hold) to view an option to set it as default. Default filters will load up instantly the next time you use the attachments panel.

You can delete saved filters by tapping the "Edit" button in the bottom-left, or by long-tapping the item you wish to delete and tapping the related option that appears.
