Menus

Menu Item Purpose / Action
New Creates a new manufacturer
Open Opens the selected manufacturer
Find Opens the Find tool (see below)
Export Opens a dialog for you to save an export of the selected manufacturer
Refresh Reloads the current view, showing any new changes
Delete Deletes the selected manufacturer (please call support before using this)
Print Prints some details about the selected manufacturer
Print Quick Report Prints the current list of manufacturers
Print List Print a basic listing of each selected customer. Default form is one line per customer with customer ID, customer name, address, phone and FAX.
Print Phone Book Print a basic listing of each selected customer. Default form is somewhat of a phone book style showing customer name, assigned sales person and each contact. The contact shows the related phone numbers only. (No email address on the default form.)
Print Labels Print a basic label for each selected customer. Used for creating labels for files, drawers and other uses.
Print Agency Labels Print a basic label for the selected workgroup.
Preferences Opens the column preferences (see below)
Configuration Opens general manufacturer configuration (use with caution; see below)
Close Closes OASIS

Find

Basic

 

 

Field Meaning
Name The name of the customer
CustmerID The ID of the customer
InternalID The background ID used by OASIS (the first ID the customer ever had)
City Whether the manufacturer is enabled for Resell
State Whether the manufacturer can only do Resell
Manufacturer Customers with accounts assigned to the selected manufacturer(s)
Account# Search for a customer (or customers) with the keyed manufacturer account number.
Phone Number The Phone number of the customer
Active Only Whether to only search for active customers
Out of Territory Show all customers marked as "Out of Territory".

Assigned To Select customers assigned to the selected sales person(s)
Role Select customers with the selected role(s)
Rank Select customers with the selected rank

AttDescription Description of the attachment
AttNote Note associated with the attachment
Search Keys

 

 

 

Here, each customer search tag is shown, and you can select which keys you want to search for, or none.

Show Fields ... Which fields to show as columns in the manufacturer list
Available Fields ... Fields which can be added to "Show Fields ..."
< Move the selected available field to the shown fields
<< Move ALL available fields to the shown fields
> Move the selected shown field to the available fields
>> Move ALL shown fields to the available fields
Up Move the selected shown field up the list (left in the column view)
Down Move the selected shown field down the list (right in the column view)
Sort

Sort order ... Fields by which to sort the manufacturer list
Available Fields ... Fields which can be added to "Sort order ..."
< Move the selected available field to the sort order
<< Move ALL available fields to the sort order
> Move the selected sort order field to the available fields
>> Move ALL sort order fields to the available fields
Up Move the selected sort order field up the list (higher priority)
Down Move the selected sort order field down the list (lower priority)
Dir Change the sort direction of the selected sort order field (ascending or descending)

Copy Copies the selected row in the list to the clipboard

 

View

 

 

Menu Item Action
Save View To use: first use the "find" feature to show a list of customers. Then select the columns to show. Finally save the view.
Get View Saved views show under this menu item. Select a view name to run the find and select the related columns in one mouse click.
Remove View Delete an old view.

Tools

Reassign Sales Assignments Change all customers assigned to one sales person and assign them to a the selected sales person
Current O2O Maps Show and edit the mapping of external customer codes
Apply tags Set the same user tag for each selected user

Search Bar

Button / Field Purpose / Action
Binoculars with Arrow Show/hide the blue search bar
Find (blue link) Opens the Find tool (see above)
Name The name of the customer
X (blue link) Clears the value in the Name box
go Executes a search for customers matching the name
Lists Show customers assigned to the selected role
WG Workgroup allowed for the customer
Active Only Whether to only show active customers when searching
