Retrieving OASIS Log Files on Windows 8/8.1/10

Move your cursor to the bottom left corner of the screen and click the Start icon when it appears.

For Windows 8/8.1, find and click "Computer" in the app tile display.

 

For Windows 10, type and select "This PC" in the app tile display

Next, select Local Disk C.

Double click on the Users folder.

Next, click on the name you use to log into Windows. (In this case, ours is Win8)

In that folder, you'll see a folder called ".oasis". Open that folder.

In that folder, there is a folder called "Logs". Open that folder.

These will be the log files. Change the view to the Detail view, then sort by date modified.

Highlight the files that are related to the date and time that the problems were occurring on this machine. Right click on the highlighted files and select “Send To > Mail Recipient." This will create a new e-mail using your default e-mailing program and attach the highlighted files to the e-mail. Please send these files to support@oasissalessoftware.com. If you have a case number, please place (case #####) in the subject of your e-mail so that there will be less delay in handling your case.
