Sales Accounts

This section of Oasis is used to represent, track, and report on sales accounts. Sales Accounts are simply who gets credit for the order. These “Accounts” can be people, branch offices, house account or any other entity needed.

Column names and definitions from the Sales Account Listing area are as follows:

Column Name Column Description
Name Identifier that will show in menus and some prints
Description Descriptive text or short note for the account
Cross Crossover account: Used to track accounts in external programs
Active Checked = active account; unchecked = inactive account
Percent of Commission This is a hidden split between the sales account and the company.  This takes the assigned commission credit amount from the sales account split on the transaction, and splits it again based on what is entered.  (If zero, then nothing is given to the sales account.  If 100, then all of the credit assigned from the transaction is passed through to reports, such as the "Commission for Accounts" report.)
Percent of Overage This is a hidden split between the sales account and the company.  This takes the assigned overage credit amount from the sales account split on the transaction, and splits it again based on what is entered.  (If zero, then nothing is given to the sales account.  If 100, then all of the credit assigned from the transaction is passed through to reports, such as the "Commission for Accounts" report.)
Percent of Margin This is a hidden split between the sales account and the company.  This takes the assigned margin/profit credit amount from the sales account split on the resell transaction, and splits it again based on what is entered.  (If zero, then nothing is given to the sales account.  If 100, then all of the credit assigned from the transaction is passed through to reports, such as the "Commission for Accounts" report.)  ***This affects only resell transactions***
